Hello, I’m Cheyenne.
About
I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember. I’m currently pursuing an MFA in Writing, with a background in creative writing, copy writing, and content strategy. I believe building brands is similar to building worlds—it’s done through thoughtful storytelling and close attention to detail.
Whether I’m writing website copy, a blog article or poetry, I strive to create something that feels intentional, memorable and human. I believe good writing should inform, connect and stay with people long after they’ve finished reading.
When it comes to writing, I enjoy storytelling the most. That is as true for my poetry as it is for brand building and blogs. Everything has a story and a world it lives in. I want to write it.
One of my favorite current projects is Black Cat Book Club, a fictional horror subscription box I created to explore branding, copy writing and story telling through a complete business identity.
Outside of work, you’ll find me reading, building my Stephen King collection, and finding new ways to annoy my husband and son. Whether that’s by going off on a tangent about a random piece of mythology or by trying to get them to match with me for an event, I always try to prioritize family. Life outside of writing keeps my stories grounded. Just the way I like them.
